Abu Dhabi is the richest emirate of the country, and it would be unwise to underestimate the potential of this thriving princedom. The city initially developed as the administrative and financial center of the country. However, it has been turning into a strong competitor to Dubai in terms of tourism and entertainment over the recent decade. It is worth to mention such places as Formula 1 Race Track, Ferrari Park, and Yas WaterWorld as one of the best waterparks on the globe. The city is preparing to host the local branches of Louvre and Solomon Guggenheim Museum.
The city has changed its face essentially as blooming gardens grow and breath-taking skyscrapers hover nowadays where salt marshes and mangrove swamps could be found just some short time ago. Your eyes will catch the 125-meter-high pearl shell and the 'falling' tower that resembles a whirlwind flying over a dune.
We offer guided tours to Abu Dhabi from Dubai, Sharjah, Ras al-Khaimah, and other emirates. Long distances are not an obstacle since motorways are excellent here and the trip time will pass unnoticed as we talk about the culture, traditions, and customs of the East.
As we enter the island – and this is exactly an island city – we can see His Majesty's Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nakhyan Mosque, one of the miracles of the present-day world, and it is hard to find the right words to describe the beauty and splendor of this building. Next, we will have a ride around the cozy and shadowy streets in the private quarters of the city. This is the greenest city of the region unmatched by any other place in the entire Arabian Peninsula and in the Middle East in general. I do promise to show you even those parts of the city where tourists are not welcomed with pleasure since there are restrictions regarding taking photos in particular sections of the city.
As our next destination, we will further ride across the administrative sections of the city towards the very heart of the capital with the wonderful riverfront named the Corniche Road and the observation site from where one can enjoy a panoramic view to the business quarters of the local downtown resembling the view to Manhattan across the Hudson Bay. Following this photo stop, we will further go towards the Emirates Palace, which was designed as the residence for the guests accepted by the local ruler.
If desired, you will have a chance to visit and enjoy the interiors of the said palace, too. It is required to make an advance reservation at a restaurant or a café here. The splendor of the eastern emirs' palace will definitely make a very deep impression on you.
Our next destination will be the Heritage Garden and the ancient fortress of Al-Hosn, and we will also have a ride to see the main squares, streets, and avenues in the business quarters of the city. After that, we will use the unique motorway running across the Persian Gulf to access the neighboring island of Saadiyat where the local branch of the globally famous Louvre is about to open and where the local branch of the Salomon Guggenheim Museum will be opened in 2017.
Our further trip will be to Yas Island where one of the final runs of the Formula One auto racing is held. The local race track runs thru the unique architectural complex of Viceroy, which is covered with a vault of steel and glass, with the wharfs for the luxury yachts of the local princes, kings, and the richest people of the globe scattered around the area. Finally, we will visit the crown jewels of the UAE; the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi amusement park and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi waterpark.
